OurSolidarity is a non-profit project and is all about giving back to society, helping one another in a time of need and making it better together.

It has been noticed, during the lockdown due to the Covid-19 virus, that a lot of people have been offering their availability to assist their neighbours by putting up signs on the front building door or creating Facebook groups and spreadsheets, which contain names and addresses of people who are willing to offer help and the ones in need of assistance with their simple basic needs such as grocery shopping and buying medicine from the pharmacy.

As a result, our Berlin based group, consisting of four people, decided to create a web application, which could spread faster and reach more people, across different countries, on a unified platform, with the aim of bringing the society closer and making things better together in those difficult times.

It is very important to mention that this project will not be using the data provided by the people nor will it be attempting to benefit financially from it.
